This is a great question that requires a bit more info to answer. Bear with us as we explain all of the factors that go into shipping time in transit:
Shipping Method
We provide you with two shipping service options USPS and UPS. US Postal Service Priority mail is usually the least expensive option, and boxes usually take about 2-5 days to arrive. UPS Ground is another great value option and we’ve included a map below to show how many days in transit UPS Ground usually takes.
Please note: USPS Priority Mail and UPS Ground are not guaranteed. Sometimes due to holidays or other circumstances that are out of our control, shipping may take longer than estimated.
If you have a specific date you’d like to receive your order (weddings, holidays, parties, etc), we recommend using UPS 3-day, UPS 2nd Day, or UPS Next Day Shipping Methods. These shipping times are guaranteed by UPS and are the most reliable options.
Preferred Delivery Date:
This is a great option for those of us early birds who like to plan ahead! We will do our very best to ship out your order so it will arrive as close as possible to the preferred date. Please note that we only ship orders out Tuesdays through Fridays, and also that UPS and USPS are third party services, so we cannot guarantee any delivery date.
State for shipping destination:
Another important factor in shipping time is the state to which the items are being shipped. We ship everything from our shop in Chicago, Il. For example: if you’re shipping to a suburb of Chicago your order should arrive in 1-2 days, if you are shipping to California, your order may take 4-6 days to arrive.
Day of the Week:
We only ship out orders Tuesdays through Fridays. And in the words of Harry Potter’s Uncle Vernon: “No post on Sundays” and other major holidays. These factors may add an extra day or two to your shipping timeline. Don’t worry, your order is wrapped tight and will still be fresh, it just might arrive a day or two later than estimated.
